The Church Planter can provide your church Plant with Spiritual Covering
The issue of Spiritual Covering is one which has been maligned in today's thinking by leaders who see no benefit in it. Spiritual Covering is a Biblical Principle which safeguards you when challenges come. The principle is seen in the relationships of men like Moses and Joshua, Elijah and Elisha, and others.
In church planting we know that this is not only safe, but is a preferred method reflected in almost every model of church planting. The Church Planter covers new church plants through Gilgal Christian Community, a religious body which is incorporated.
Gilgal is a Christian Community which exists to foster and assist in the planting and establishment of churches. (Click on the image for more information.) We are preeminently a church planting movement and not a denomination. Our member churches find spiritual covering and assistance during the process of being planted and in every aspect of ministry.Ultimately, our goal is to see every church plant grow to the point that it can become a fully operating, duly registered, and independent church.
We understand that this process may take several years to complete and we assist pastors and congregations to achieve this goal. Gilgal works with bi-vocational
pastors and does not employ ministers, own registered assets, or real estate. We exists to mentor, train, facilitate, and give spiritual and administrative
covering to church plants.
If you are a church planter we can help you from planning your church, to its launch, growth, training of workers, and ultimate registration. All of the pastoral staff in each member church holds credentials. If you don't have credentials we can supply staff pastor credentials through Gilgal Christian Community (GCC).
